Open the Apache website in your browser:

Default Apache website files in are stored in:
$PREFIX/share/apache2/default-site/htdocs
List the website files.
ls $PREFIX/share/apache2/default-site/htdocs
Open the default webpage.
nano $PREFIX/share/apache2/default-site/htdocs/index.html
You can replace the existing content with your own HTML code and then open:
http://localhost:8080
Restart Apache after making configuration changes.
apachectl restart
Stop Apache.
apachectl stop
View the Apache configuration file.
nano $PREFIX/etc/apache2/httpd.conf
View the Apache log directory.
ls $PREFIX/var/log/apache2
View the error log.
cat $PREFIX/var/log/apache2/error_log
Watch the error log in real time.
tail -f $PREFIX/var/log/apache2/error_log
You can also check the Apache process with:
ps -A | grep httpd
